The duo who had been kidnapped by gunmen alongside 7 other foreigners, nearly 3 weeks ago were freed and are reported to be in good health.

The duo, Helal Uddin and Mohammed Anwar Hossain who had been kidnapped by gunmen alongside 7 other foreigners, nearly 3 weeks ago were freed and are reported to be in good health.
The Bangladeshi foreign ministry said the two men were now safe in hospital in the city of Sirte.
The kidnap which is suspected to have been carried out by Islamic State militants happened at the al-Ghani oil field where they'd been working for the oilfield management company Value Added Oilfield Services (VAOS).

Other foreigners seized with them were reported to include four Filipinos, an Austrian, a Czech and a Ghanaian and it is not yet clear whether a ransom was paid to free the two Bangladeshis.
