Two workers were killed on Monday following a blast at private weapons producer Arsenal in central Bulgaria, the interior ministry said.

"Two workers have died, there are no data for other injured people and there is no danger of a follow-up blasts," it said in a statement.

Police have cordoned off the building and will be investigating the reason for the blast.
