Tech giant launches VIP ride option in Nigeria

The new setup is call Uber VIP which will give riders unique access to discounts and offers.

In a move that seems to attract more riders to utilize its services, Uber Lagos has announced a new VIP setup to reward frequent riders.

The new setup is call Uber VIP which will give riders unique access to discounts and offers. In addition, they will also be paired with top-rated drivers, as well as ride quality cars.

To qualify as an Uber VIP, you will have to take at least 10 rides each month. After that, you will receive access to an exclusive VIP option in the Uber app, enjoy exclusive giveaways.

You will have to maintain the 10-rides-a-month usage to retain your Uber VIP status and you must also remain a 5-star rider as well.

Uber is an online utilities company based in San Francisco, California, US with presence in 60 countries and 404 cities around the world.

In Nigeria, the tech giant recently launched in Abuja, with Port-Harcourt and other major Nigerian cities to follow in the coming months.
