Luxottica to design stylish Google Glass

After halting the consumer sale of the Google Glass in January, Google has decided to take the lessons it learnt from the poor performance of the product and revamp it.

News filtering in from wall street journal and computerworld, say Google is partnering with Luxottica, a top Italian eyewear maker, to design a trendy version of Google Glass

Luxottica is the parent company of Ray-Ban and Oakley.

Confirming this in an interview with wall street journal, Massimo Vian- the CO-CEO of Luxottica said "In Google, there are some second thoughts on how to interpret version 3.What you saw was version 1. We're now working on version 2, which is in preparation.”

Tech heads say Luxottica was contacted by Google to come up with stylish and trendy designs of the Google glass.

Google, at press time, has declined to make any official comments.
