Dropbox improves Gmail attachment feature

It does not matter if your recipient doesn’t have a Dropbox account. They will still be able to view and download the files.

Dropbox has put finishing touches to its Chrome extension earlier launched this year.

The Dropbox for Gmail Chrome extension allows you to instantly add a link to your Dropbox file straight from your Gmail app.

All you just need to do, is to click on the Dropbox icon at the bottom of your Gmail compose page, select the files you want to include from your Dropbox account and send.

The new feature allows you to attach large files to your emails, by inserting the links to the files or folders. This eliminates the time spent by users waiting for documents to upload and also Gmail’s file size limit.

Also, the new feature allows you attach multiple files and folders without having to put them in a zip folder.

Tech experts say it does not matter if your recipient doesn’t have a Dropbox account. They will still be able to view and download the files.
