Hackers Crack White House's Unclassified Computer Network

The White House's unclassified computer network was breached recently by hackers and investigations have commenced to find the culprits.

Hackers have extended their malicious activities to the White House as they recently breached its unclassified computer network which resulted in temporary outages while cybersecurity experts work to contain the situation.

According to ABC News, a senior administrative official in a statement disclosed that some elements of the unclassified Executive Office of the President network have been affected.

The official in the statement said: "Our actions are ongoing, and some have resulted in some temporary outages and loss of connectivity for our users.

"Our computers and systems have not been damaged, though some elements of the unclassified network have been affected. The temporary outages and loss of connectivity for our users is solely the result of measures we have taken to defend our networks."

The FBI, Secret Service and National Security Agency are presently investigating the intrusion.
