Senator says budget will be passed on March 17

He promised that the National Assembly was fully committed to passing the budget on time in the best interests of Nigerians.

''We will diligently and transparently scrutinize the budget and pass it into law'' , Wamakko, told newsmen in Sokoto on Saturday.

Wamakko further reiterated the commitment of the National Assembly to complement the efforts of President Muhammadu Buhari to move Nigeria forward and bring about positive changes in the affairs of the country.

The lawmaker appealed to Nigerians to be patient and pray for the administration to succeed.
