Gov. expresses shock over death of Imo Broadcasting Corporation boss

The governor also called on her family and the entire IBC staff to take heart and bear her death with fortitude.

Okorocha, in a statement issued on Saturday in Owerri by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Sam Onwuemeodo, said that the death on Friday came to him as a big shock.

The governor said Obong-Egbuna died at a the time her services were still needed in the corporation.

He described the late Obong- Egbuna as a hard working and dedicated manager and called on God to receive her soul.

It would be recalled that the late Obong-Egbuna assumed duty as the general manager of IBC in February 2013 and was in that position until her death.
