The minister of health, Prof. Isaac Adewole has debunks reports of a fire outbreak in the ministry of health wing of the Federal Secretariat.

In the early hours of Saturday, July 1 2017, eyewitnesses reported that the complex was on fire.

Reacting to the news, the minister described the report as false, saying it was just an electric spark.

Adewole said “The report is false, there was just a spark in the corridors of the third floor and it has been put off. It was just an electrical spark that has been put off. No part of the ministry has been affected. No office was affected.”

Channels Television had also reported that some fire fighters were on the scene of the fire incident.
