Former Imo State Governor, Ikedi Ohakim, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
EFCC arrests former Imo State Governor
Ohakim was arrested at his Asokoro, Abuja home by EFCC officials on Thursday, June 18, 2015, after he failed to respond to the agency’s invitation.

He was subsequently driven to the EFCC’s headquarters in the Maitama area for interrogation.
According to Premium Times, the agency is expected to answer questions regarding some property which was allegedly traced to him.
Ohakim was governor of Imo from 2007 to 2011.
