Amosun also said  “People have suggested a number of solutions. But, for me, I would not support creation of grazing zones. They (cattle herders) should take it as a business, probably building ranches‎ privately. We should not try to solve a problem by creating another one.”

The Ogun Governor called on Nigerians to embrace peace, adding that the committee was set up at the right time.

He also asked the technical committee to find out if the herdsmen are really from other African countries.

Wife of the Ogun State Governor, Mrs Olufunsho Amosunhas revealed that her marriage to Senator Ibikunle Amosun changed her religious faith from a Christian to a Muslim.
