President Muhammadu Buhari has said that there will be no Federal Government delegation for the 2015 Hajj exercise in Saudi Arabia.

The cancellation is expected to save the government about $1 million in expenses.

This was disclosed by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu on Monday, August 10, 2015.

“The states can deal with that (meaning appointment of own delegations) but this year at the centre, we will not be involved,” Shehu said.
