Terrorist arrested in Abuja market

The terrorist, identified as Usman, was arrested on Tuesday, December 27, while preaching at the Utako market.

 

The terrorist, identified as Usman, was arrested on Tuesday, December 27, while preaching at the Utako market.

The arrest was made by members of private security agency, Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) Marshall Guards, according to Daily Trust.

AMAC spokesman, Kingsley Madaki said, via a statement, that the suspect was arrested with “Qur’an and a chaplet on his neck while trying to lobby people in the market.”

Madaki said further that the suspect confessed to being a member of the sect was handed over to soldiers.

The Federal Government had earlier warned Nigerians to be on the lookout for fleeing terrorists who would attempt to integrate into the society after the capture of notorious Boko Haram stronghold, Sambisa Forest.
