Nigerian soldiers have arrested two senior members of Boko Haram in Yobe State, an official has said.

The fleeing insurgents were arrested by troops in the Geidam area of the state, according to Army spokesperson, Sani Usman.

Usman said further that the apprehended terrorists were currently being interrogated adding that two pick up vehicles were also seized from them.

He also denied reports that 150 people had been killed in a terrorist attack in the Kukuwa-Gari area of the state.
