French President, Francois Hollande has offered to host an international meeting on combating Nigerian terrorist sect, Boko Haram.

Buhari has also been invited to an international anti-terror summit in New York on September 28.

Hollande made the offer on Tuesday, August 25, 2015, during a speech to diplomats, according to AFP.
“In several days, I will receive the new Nigerian President (Muhammadu) Buhari and I will confirm to him that France is ready to unite all the actors in the fight against Boko Haram,” Hollande said.
The invitation was extended by United Nations Secretary-General, Ban Ki-Moon during an official visit to Nigeria.
