Boko Haram has been carrying out attacks in Cameroon, recently killing 11 bus passengers, but the country’s army has mounted a fierce resistance against the sect.

A recent Boko Haram attack on a military base in Cameroon was thwarted with unprecedented air strikes by the country’s troops.

Cameroon suffers from terrorist attacks largely due to its expansive border with Nigeria but Biya has vowed to wipe out the sect from his country.
