Leonardo DiCaprio set to produce a movie of automaker's scandal

Leonardo DiCaprio's production company, Appian Way, has acquired the movie rights to Volkswagen's diesel scandal.

Volkswagen's diesel scandal has been one of the biggest news of the century.

It is so huge that it has captured the attention of Hollywood.

Reports say Appian Way Productions, Leonardo DiCaprio's company, along with Paramount Pictures, has gotten the film rights to the scandal.

Variety Magazine reports that Leonardo will be teaming with Paramount Studios and actress, Jennifer Davisson Killoran, on the movie.

Also, New York Times journalist, Jack Ewing, is currently writing a book dubbed 'the Too Big To Fail of the auto industry'.

Hopefully, this will give the actor a better shot at the Oscar he deserves.
