Publication names 2016 Chevrolet Camaro as Car of the Year!

The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro has been named as Motor Trend's Car of the Year.

The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro has been named as Motor Trend's Car of the Year.

Edward Loh, the Editor-In-Chief spoke on the publication's choice.

“Our 2016 Car of the Year, the Chevrolet Camaro, is one of the finest driving vehicles in the world at any price.”

The Chevrolet Camaro is made by General Motors, who won another award for a different car.

GM's Chevrolet Colorado was named the Truck of the Year.

The Camaro beat out high performance vehicles like the Audi TT,Mercedes AMG GT S,Mazda MX-5 Miata,BMW 7 Series and Toyota Mirai to win this award.

The Camaro won based on it's performance in these categories: engineering excellence, advancement in design, value, safety, performance of intended function and efficiency.
