The traffic situation in Lagos state has escalated to a point where residents are now forced to trek.
Persistent traffic gridlocks force residents to trek!
Lagosians are now forced to trek due to the traffic jams that have persisted for three days now.
This new trend is occurring a lot along the Apapa-Oshodi expressway where Petroleum tankers have taken over the road.
Another byproduct of this horrible traffic situation is a noticeable increase in traffic robbery, especially at night.

However, the National President of the Association of Maritime Truck Owners, Remi Ogungbemi, has assured Lagosians that the gridlock in the Lagos metropolis will clear soon.
We hope the traffic gridlocks will cease soon so Lagos state can be traffic free.
