As at 0827 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 101.00/101.20 against the dollar, the same as Monday's close. Traders said the see it trading in the 100.70 to 101.30 range during the day.

A security guard walks past a montage of old U.S. dollar bills outside a currency exchange bureau ahead of a scheduled State visit by the U.S. President Barack Obama in Kenya's capital Nairobi July 23, 2015.
