'We urge motorists to exercise patience on highways', agency says

Exercise patience while driving

In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Umaru Abdullahi urged motorists to avoid accidents, during the Eld-el-Fitr celebration, by exercising patience and caution on highways, AllAfrica reports.

The new FRSC Ore Unit Commander spoke on the importance of obeying traffic rules, adding that erring motorists will be arrested.

"There is always heavy vehicular movement, especially during festivals and celebrations, this is why we are urging

motorists to exercise patience and caution during this Sallah celebration.

Motorists should know that there is no second chance when accidents happen, so they should take necessary precautions to save lives and property", he advised.
