CEO, Tesla Motors, gives his opinion on the Volkswagen scandal [VIDEO]

Elon Musk might be advising the engineers involved to resort to trickery as “The Only Option.”

Volkswagen is currently having the biggest business-related crisis ever in its 78th year.

This huge scandal has attracted the attention of Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla Motors.

Arguing that electric cars are the future, he tried to understand what the engineers might be going through.

“There must have been lots of VW under pressure—they’ve run into a physical wall of what might be possible so trickery was the only option."

He went on to say what he would do if he were running Volkswagen.

“Any car company that doesn’t go electric will go out of business. If I was taking over VW, I’d go the other way and aim to be a leader [in clean vehicles].”

This comes after he made certain predictions about the future of carmaking.
