See the structure that won the world building of the year award at the 2015 World Architecture Festival.

The Interlace

A 'vertical village' has won the world building of the year award at the 2015 World Architecture Festival.

This village is called The Interlace and is located in Singapore.

Features include breeze blocks at angles to each other, 31 apartment blocks, 1,040 homes, all on eight hectares.

It was finished two years ago.
