Telecoms giant announces finalist for competition

Etisalat Nigeria has announced finalists for the 2015 edition of its Etisalat Prize for Innovation Awards, which opened in June 2015.

The finalists were announced in Lagos on Tuesday, 3 November, 2015 by the CEO and member of the board of Innovators for the Prize, Matthew Willsher.

Speaking on the initiative, Willsher reiterated the company’s commitment to nurturing talent, endorsing the quality of the innovative products and services.

“The 2015 finalists of the Etisalat Prize for Innovation are truly remarkable and reflect the rigor with which they were chosen by the judges. We are honored to recognize these remarkable innovations and the individuals behind them and we look forward to celebrating the winners at the award ceremony taking place on the 6th of November 2015,” Willsher said.

Here are the finalists for the Innovative product category:

  • Study Math Lab
  • Digital Back Books

Finalists for the innovative idea category are:

  • Dedicated Traffic Mapping Device
  • Traffigator Tech

The winner of the most innovative product category will get a N5 million cash prize, high-end mobile devices, one year free data bundled with an Etisalat MiFi, in-house business development mentoring, and product promotion via Etisalat online mediums.

The winner of the innovative idea category winner will get a N2 million cash prize, high-end mobile devices, one year free data bundled with an Etisalat MiFi, in-house business development mentoring, and product promotion via Etisalat online mediums.
