What does it mean when your boyfriend starts avoiding you?

My boyfriend doesn't want me around him that much; he hardly talks to me even when we are together.

Dear Bukky,

My sweet relationship is beginning to fall apart. Right now I don't know where we stand.

My boyfriend doesn't want me around him that much; he hardly talks to me even when we are together.

He is always busy with his phone; we don't hang out in public any longer.

He never apologizes even when he knows he hurt me. I still love him but I don't know how to win his heart back. What do I do?_________________

Dear reader,

Communication is very essential in any relationship.

Couples understand each other better when they can talk about their fears, worries, values and other things. It creates a stronger bond between them.

It's not just about noticing your relationship is failing, have you talked about it with him? You need to be open, let him know how he has been hurting you.

Let him also know you still want the relationship to work out and ask him if he wants the same thing you want. If he says yes, ask him what he wants from you to make the relationship and tell him what you need from him too.

This kind of talk will give you clarity on where you both stand in the relationship and how much effort you need to put into it so as to meet each other halfway.

I wish you all the best.___________________
