She's out of my league; how do I make her fall for me?

She's from a rich home, has up to 2k likes on Instagram. I’m scared I might not have what it takes to be her man.

Dear Bukky,

I am a student and there's this girl in my department, her attitude is enough to be called green light.

But I’m scared of asking her out because I might not have what it takes. She's from a rich home, has up to 2k likes on Instagram and all that, but I really love her.

Sometimes she would take me to her lodge and cook [for me]. We play a lot, and she told me about a guy that was asking her out. She says she's not interested in the guy, that she doesn't like his vibe.

The other time she told me there's this Igbo boy she's interested in, that he has visited her before, and that she really wants to give the guy a chance but she's scared she might get heartbroken.

I’m confused because I’m Igbo! Could she be playing games?___________

Dear reader,

I have just one word for you -  shoot your shot.

I guess you are familiar with the game of football where there’s usually a goalkeeper blocking opponents from scoring cheap goals or in some instances, no goals at all.

Without that goalie, though, the coast becomes clear for shots to hit the back of the net everytime.

I hope you catch my drift with that analogy? Quit thinking of yourself as incapable when she clearly seems you’re good enough.

I think the only deterrent here should be if you don’t like her. If you do, then her family’s wealth and Instagram page should not hold you back.

Please, shoot that shot -  and quickly!____________Do you want to talk about your love life, marriage or family issues?
