Former President's son weds sweetheart in Lagos

After some difficulties, the couple finally tie the knot in Lagos on May 11, 2017.

The couple cut their wedding cake

The wedding ceremony was well attended by family and friends of the couple as well as the numerous allies of their wealthy families.

The groom Olujonwo is the son of President Olusegun Obasanjo while the bride is the daughter of Chief Adebutu, the promoter of Premier Lotto, a popular bet gaming company.

Guests pictured at the Balmoral Hall of Federal Palace hotel for the ceremony include former Governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke; past and present Governor of Ogun state, Gbenga Daniels and Ibikunle Amosun repsectively.

The ceremony had been threatened at some point by the groom's mother who dragged the couple's fathers to court, seeking an injunction to stop the ceremony from holding.

The petition for an injunction was however struck out and the pair are now man and wife.

Big congrats to the families of President Obasanjo and Chief Adebutu on the union of their children.
