This national holiday was founded in order for ex-spouses to positively reflect on your former relationship and release anger and resentment.
Happy ex-spouse day!
According to NationalDayCalender.com, the holiday, which was founded in 1987 by Reverend Ronald Coleman of Missouri, is observed annually on April 14—exactly two months after Valentine’s Day.
Buzz 60’s, Patrick E. Jones says that it should also be a time that you should set aside to forgive your ex so that you can successfully move on.
According to madamenoire, the forgiveness and releasing anger part is important in order to maintain emotional and mental wellness.
While this holiday is over, the idea is quite important.
