The Abuja-Kaduna is a standard gauge railway line covering a total distance of 186km. Built by the Chinese company CCECC, its estimated cost is $874m.
With about 200km/h top speed, this line reduces travel time between these two bustling, vibrant cities by about an hour.
The line has nine stops featuring both passenger and cargo trains. Passenger trains have a carrier capacity of 5000 people.

Ten similar projects are being planned or already in construction stages all over the country in a bid to ensure smooth and fast travel within the seventh most populous country in the world.
2. Abuja Central Mosque
The Abuja National Mosque, otherwise known as Nigerian National Mosque, is the national mosque of Nigeria, a country that has quite a significant Muslim population, especially in Abuja where it is located.
The mosque complex was built in 1984, it includes a conference centre with a 500-person capacity, the office for the Islamic Centre, and residential facilities for the Imam (congregational head) and muezzin (in charge of call to prayer).
The architectural masterpiece is also a great place for artistic appreciation and colourful Muslim weddings.
