The power of art was evident at the Revolving Art Incubator on Sunday, August 13, 2017 as "Memoirs of A Black Box", the fusion of performance, sonic and visual art by SA Williams -in partnership with The Ordinary Guys- gave new meaning to how art should be interpreted and appreciated.
Unlike the usual way art is being exhibited, "Memoirs of a black box" took a direction that didn't only give guest a view of the artist's mind in the creation process, but also allowed them to explore his mind, their minds and the entire human minds.
It wasn't just a journey through pictures, it was a journey of the feet that created one or two stops for everyone to ponder on the similarities we all share in our journeys.
"Memoirs of a black box" wasn't just about some art pieces on display, but a synergy of artists, poets, singer, dancers and drummer (talking drum). The vibe in the environment was totally lit with no boring moment whatsoever as the artists took turns to entertain guests.
"Memoirs of a black box" is one art exhibition of its kind.
