How to bake a chocolate layer cake with Twix

The cake is two thick layers of soft chocolate cake covered in caramel and it takes succulent and heavenly.
What you need:
- Two cups of flour
- One cup of cocoa powder
- Three big eggs
- One teaspoon of baking powder
- Two cups of sugar
- One cup of buttermilk
- Three quarters a cup of vegetable oil
- Two teaspoons of vanilla extract
- Hot water
For frosting:
- Half cup of softened butter
- Two and a half cups of icing sugar
- Half cup of salted caramel sauce

How to:
1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees C.
2. Grease two 8 inch round cake tins.
3. Sift the flour, cocoa powder, sugar and baking powder into a large bowl and mix.
4. Mix the buttermilk, vegetable oil, vanilla and eggs in another bowl.
5. Mix the contents of the two bowls together.
6. Slowly pour in a glass of hot water.
7. Continue to mix till batter is smooth.
8. Pour the batter into the two greased cake tins.
9. Bake for about 35 minutes.
10. Leave to cool for 15 minutes and remove from tins.
11. Beat the butter in a mixing bowl till it is smooth.
12. Add the icing sugar and beat till creamy and smooth.
13. Add in the caramel sauce and continue to beat.
14. Cover one cake with half of the frosting.
15. Place the other cake on top.
16. Cover with the remaining frosting.
17. Top with the Twix bars.
18. Cut up and enjoy.
