The Nigerian stars were also not left out of the mix, as Yemi Alade in Zuhair Murad and Falz in a laidback monochrome outfit stormed the red carpet. Falz has already won the BET Awards 2016 Viewers Choice Best New International Actas well.
The award ceremony recognizes great achievements in black entertainment and honors music, sports, television, and motion pictures over the past year. Pop queen, Beyonce and rapper, Kendrick Lamar opened the show with an electrifying rendition of ‘Freedom’ from Beyonce’s latest visual album, ‘Lemonade’.
