The Life House hosted women to a fabulous Musical concert in celebration of International Women’s Day (IWD) at Federal Palace Hotel.

The Life House held an event tagged Woman Rising 2016 in special celebration of International Women’s Day (IWD) on Sunday, March 20 2016 at The Marquee Federal Palace Hotel, V.I Lagos.

Lagos was treated to wonderful all female performances by saxophonist Tamar, classical jazz pianist Rolake, violinist Jennifer, talking drummer Irawo and the uplifting voices of Ruby Gyang, Temi Doll Face, Ranti, Aramide and Simi....Our special man MI Abaga even made a guest appearance in support of the event which sealed the night with a glorious performance of his hit "one naira". Literary inputs were ever present in signature Woman Rising style thanks to the live readings and contributions by Obi Asika, Keith Richards, Femi Odugbemi, Ed Keazor and Ike Echeruo - thanks guys for being the amazing men behind amazing women!

AMVCA 2016 Trailblazer Award winner, Kemi Lala Akindoju was the host and MC. The Women Rising event is aimed at celebrating womanhood and challenging them to be the best in their endeavours and overcome limitations.

The women present were afforded the opportunity to network and get acquainted with other women from all walks of life while sipping cocktail and having an amazing time.
