Africa’s first beach polo tournament has started at Eko Atlantic city in Lagos, where some of the nation’s most experienced polo players are competing in a four-day tournament for the prestigious Access Bank Cup.The event brings together six teams with a total of more than 70 horses and 24 riders from the Lagos Polo Club. The event is taking place on the foundation sands of Eko Atlantic, widely reported to be the most impressive privately funded civil engineering project in Africa.See Gallery below for photos from the first day
