Singer Seyi Shay Fails To Turn Up At Kinabuti Event

Nigerian singer, Seyi Shay was absent at the Pulse.ng/Kinabuti Lux Fashion Show after being in contract.

Nigerian artist, Seyi Shay who recently signed a deal with Etisalat, was supposed to perform at The Kinabuti Winter collection 2014 at the Radisson Blu Anchorage Hotel Lagos on Saturday the 30 on November, but didn’t turn up.

Seyi Shay had earlier been contracted to perform at the event, with every promotional material released bearing her name. Her manager had earlier showed up for a sound check during the preparation for the event at the Radisson Blu hotel, and even tweeted this below.

However at 8:30PM, there was no Seyi Shay on the stage to perform, with the ‘Irawo’ singer spotted at the Johnnie Walker ‘Step Up to The VIP’ event where she performed rapper Wale’s hit song ‘Bad’ with him.

The event had Pulse.ng relaunch their platform in collaboration with Kinabuti fashion designer who showcased her winter collection . A number of celebrities also graced the red carpet looking dapper in designer outfits.

Former BBA Winner and ace actor, Uti Nwachukwu was the host, and there were stellar performances by rap stars, Ikechukwu ‘Killz’ and Cypha, who thrilled the guests.

Ikechukwu ‘Killz’ also pulled a professional surprise when he made an appearance as a runway model, causing a huge ripple through the guests.
