Nemesis has caught up with the Lagos landlord who set his tenant on fire as he has also died from the injuries he sustained.
Few days after downing a can of fuel on his tenant and setting him on fire because he was cautioned on not messing up the general toilet, a Lagos based landlord, Sola Solomon, has also died from the injuries he also sustained from the flames.
It was gathered that the Ondo State born landlord died on Wednesday, August 26, two days after he burnt down the father of one, Abeeb Daralaye, and threw him down a three storey building located at Iga Idunganran Street, Idumota, Lagos Island, on Monday, August 24.
After the 67-year-old Solomon had set Daralaye on fire, he was also rushed to the Lagos Island General Hospital where his condition was described as critical because he also suffered some degrees of burns but he also succumbed to the cold hands of death.
A police source added that Solomon died while receiving treatment at the hospital.
“The landlord is also dead. He died at the hospital in the afternoon. So as it is, the case has been resolved.”
Some residents on the street were visibly happy and relieved that the wicked landlord did not survive after his horrendous act.
One of them said:
“Yes, the wicked man has finally died. He did not survive the injuries. His family members are around. Abeeb’s corpse is also at the Lagos Island General Hospital mortuary, and we don’t know why the police have yet to release it for burial.”
