K9 Departs eLDee’s Trybe Records, Sets Up His Personal Business

After days of endless rumors, young Nigerian singer and producer, K9 has parted ways with eLDee’s recording outfit- Trybe Records. He has also launched his own recording label, Young Lion Entertainment.

Multiple reports state that K9 did not receive the right attention and funding package while at Trybe Records, and his hit single ‘Kokoma’ never had a video worthy of the status of the song.

In a recent interview with HipTv, K9, cleared the air on this issue and also gave an insight into what his plans for the rest of the year are.

According to him “At some point, all businesses have to part ways. I’m still cool with Eldee… I still hope to work with him in future but for now I’m doing things on my own… We are in the process of finalizing arrangements for me to leave”.

The multi-talented singer/songwriter/producer and dancer who recently released a new song “Celebration” with long-time friend and top producer Sarz, also dropped the name of his own entertainment outfit “Young Lion Entertainment”.
