Woman's head chopped off by ritualists in Ondo

The death of a young woman in Ondo has attracted controversy after she was found beheaded in an apparent ritual killing

Residents of the Arigidi Akoko area of Ondo state were treated to a gruesome sight after the decapitated corpse of a young woman was found in the area.

The mutilated body was discovered by passersby over the weekend  along the side of the Ogbagi/Arigidi Akoko road.

The deceased woman, who is yet to be identified, is believed to have been around 25 to 30 years of age.

The current theory being passed around by members of the community is that the woman was beheaded by ritualists who, after perpetrating their evil act, proceeded to dump her lifeless, headless body.
