A man in Lagos has been arrested by the police after he allegedly stabbed his girlfriend.
Man Stabs Girlfriend For Ending Relationship
The suspect is said to have attacked his girlfriend after she expressed a desire to end the affair
23-year-old Olaide Salami is said to have stabbed one Monisola Adedoyin, his love interest, on the face with a glass shard after she made known her intention to end their relationship.
Salami was reportedly charged before a Magistrate Court in the Apapa area of the state.
Vanguard reports that the Prosecutor, Cpl. John Iberedem, told the court:

“Salami started harassing the complainant because she said she was no longer interested in their relationship.
“Adedoyin said that the accused came to her house with some of his friends and started assaulting her.
“She said that the accused also stole her phone and N30,000.
“When Adedoyin’s mother tried to resolve the dispute, the accused also assaulted her, “
The accused pleaded not guilty to the crime.
