Readers say they won't forgive an abusive spouse

77.2% of Pulse Nigeria Poll voters say they would never forgive a spouse that slaps them in public.

Marriage is meant to last as long as the couple live, for better for worse, but as human beings, there is a limit to what one can tolerate from a spouse.

The response we had was quite interesting as a majority of those who voted agreed that they would never forgive such a partner.

In fact, 77.8% said they would not forgive the spouse while a minority, 22.2%, said they would play the tolerant card and forgive the abusive partner.
