"I Want To Spend A Day With My Dad"

The MOBO award winner yearns for a closer relationship with her father

We've all been confronted with that question at one point or the other, "if you could spend the day with anyone, who would it be?".

Usually, the answer varies from a beloved celebrity to a departed relative. However for MOBO award winning artiste, Nneka, its her father, who is very much alive.

Speaking exclusively with Pulse, the 33-year old said:

"I'll spend a whole day with my dad, I want to get to know him. It sounds awkward but I don't really know him. The closest people could be the most distant. I'll just go to a place and listen and have him tell me about himself. Who he is, what he likes and doesn't like, his first girlfriend and things like that. I'm trying to do that now by travelling back to Warri and spending some time with him but it could never be enough."
