Still A Lot To Be Thankful For…

We can want to dwell on the negatives but for every problem we are currently facing, there's still a lot to be thankful for.

Ebola, Boko Haram, Chibok Girls, Church Building Collapses are all we seem to talk about in Nigeria nowadays. It seems like there’s one crisis ready to happen every second.

Nigeria turns 54 today and even though we would like to have a negative opinion on the state of the Nation, it’s never bad to look at the bright side of things. Call it the ‘ying and yang’ of life

We can want to dwell on the negatives but for every problem we are currently facing, there is a Blessing Okagbare making us proud on the tracks, there’s a Davido winning a BET Award, there’s a Kunle Afolayan projecting the history and values of Nigeria through his films and there’s the late Dr Stella Adadevoh who gave her life to save millions.

It’s starts with us – one step at a time to make things change; it starts with you and I, standing up to restore the moral values which we dutifully sing in our National Anthem. ‘…to serve our fatherland, with love and strength and faith…’.
