A man in Ogun who tried to save his son’s life, ended up losing his in the process.
Man Drowns While Trying To Save Son
A bus driver in Ogun has died after trying to save his son from drowning in a river
Oluwagbeminija Rhodes, a commercial bus driver, was washing his car at the Ogun River when he saw his young son, Gbeminiyi, drowning.
He rushed into the water to help his son but was overwhelmed by the water and died instead.
The son’s life was saved by good Samaritans who came to his rescue.

Rhodes’ corpse was found a day later by fishermen and he has since been laid to rest.
