Housemaid connives with guard to steal employers' daughter

An housemaid in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has reportedly kidnapped a 2-year-old baby girl of her employer barely few weeks after being employed.

Another case of child kidnapping has been reported in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, where an housemaid, in connivance with a security guard in the employ of a couple, kidnapped their employers' infant daughter and have not been seen since the incident which happened on the 15 of January, 12015.

The couple, Mr. and Mrs. Sepribo Whyte, are said to be running from pillar to post to trace the whereabout of their culprits as well as their daughter.

The sad news which was posted on the social media, has been going viral with many Facebook users giving their suggestions while the police are also said to have begun investigations into the circumstances of the kidnap.

The report has is that the maid was recently employed by the couple after a recommendation by an agent but they were shocked when they came back on the day of the incident to find that their daughter, maid and the security guard was no where to be found.

This is another recurring decimal in the cases of maids kidnapping or brutalizing kids left in their care or conniving with robbers to raid their employers' homes.

Late last year, there was a celebrated case where a Ugandan maid was caught in a video maltreating a 2-year-old girl.

In the same month, a maid in Lagos kidnapped two kids after being employed just a week earlier while another maid in Abuja strangled a baby because her mistress refused to allow her travel to her village for the Christmas celebration.
