The incident reportedly took place in Orhunwhorhun Community, Udu Local Government Area of Delta state.

Daily Post reports that the thief broke into the victims home at about 4am on Thursday morning, armed with a knife.

Frank was apprehended after the occupant of the house raised alarm, and the neighbours gave the suspect chase.

Speaking with Daily Post correspondents, the thief said,"It was temptation that made me break into his house.

"I have no phone, and I have begged people to help me get one, but they couldn’t. That’s why I broke into his house. I didn’t even know he was my namesake.”

The Orhunwhorhun Vigilante who attempted to intervene in the case and take custody of the suspect was stopped by the residents of the area who alleged that the burglar might escape as he is notorious for breaking into homes.
