A pastor in Ondo State has been arrested for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl.

Pastor is soup for raping a minor

A so called man of God in Ondo State, identified as Pastor Jacob Ojomo, has been arrested by the state's command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), for allegedly raping a 15 year-old girl in Akure, the state capital.

In a statement by the state Commandant of the Corps, Adeyinka Fasiu, the pastor reportedly committed the sacrilegious act at his residence at the Plaza axis of Oke Ijebu road, in the state capital.

Fasiu noted that the teenager's mother who caught him in the act of defiling the girl and raised an alarm which led to his men rounding up the randy man of the robe.

According to report, the mother became suspicious of Ojomo's relationship with her daughter as she was always going to his apartment where she stayed for hours and whenever she was asked, the girl would say she was studying the bible with the pastor.

But the mother became suspicious when neighbours told her that the relationship between her young daughter was more than a spiritual affair.

The NSCDC Commandant further said that medical tests carried out on the girl showed she had been defiled several times as she was no longer a virgin.

Some randy men of god have been hiding under the cloak of spirituality to defile young and innocent girls.

Such was the case of the Founder and General Overseer of Christ In All Nations Church, based in Lagos, Pastor Abraham Sunday, who was recently arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly repeatedly raping a 16-year-old girl, during a marathon three-day deliverance prayer he was 'conducting' for her at his house at Adalemo Estate, Toll Gate area, along the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway.

Another pastor with a new generation pentecostal church located along Port Harcourt Road in Onitsha, Anambra State, identified as Nzube Ohuama, was also arrested after he allegedly raped a 13-year-old girl during a vigil night programme organised by the church.
