The ladies of 'Moments'

The topic of this episode was cheating, specifically "Cheating on a cheater." This is a hot button among men and women in any part of the world. Cheating is a deal breaker for some and for others it is just a way of life.

Within the Nigerian context, cheating reveals the double standard in our society where women are called sluts and men are called playboys when they cheat.

It is within this context that these beautiful ladies share their experiences on cheating and express their views on when men cheat and when women cheat.

The show started with a bang with Sika Osei admitting she cheated while she was seeing someone. Before you gasp and go all judgemental the actress revealed she was on a two-month break with her boyfriend then when it happened.

Michelle Dededidn't really think it was cheating because she believes that a two-month break means anything goes.

Actress and Ndani producer Abimbola Craig proudly stated that "I have never cheated." Bolanle Olukanni summed up her own cheating experience to a graze over her face. As for Toke Makinwa, she said: "No, I have always been a lover girl."

The discussion later moved on to why men cheat and the ladies boiled it down to men's ego and society's acceptance. Abimbola Craig said that Nigerian men can't stand their women cheating.

It was an insightful discussion from the media personalities on why women cheat on the men they date. Maybe if they had invited a man the discussion would have been more robust but it was still an enlightening episode. They open up the narrative of cheating in Nigerian relationships and why women might feel frustrated when dealing with a man who cheats on them.
