Late Doctor Ameyo Stella Adadevoh has been honoured with an award from the organisers of 2014 Nollywood Movies Awards. The late Doctor Ameyo who died on August 19, 2014, received the award for her bravery which aided the containment of the deadly disease, Ebola.

The award was presented to her son and nephew at the Nollywood Movies Awards which held on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Intercontinental hotel Lagos. According to the organisers, the award to late Dr Ameyo is the first posthumous award in Nollywood history. The organisers also commended her selfless effort, for putting her self at risk for the safety of the whole country.
