"I haven't taken alcohol since April 2014"

Lynxxx reveals how a trip to the United States would invariably lead him to quitting alcohol

Don't expect to see Lynxxx (real name Chucky Edozien) clutching a glass of liquor anytime soon as the Syndik8 records boss has sworn off alcohol, and this has been the case for him since last April.

Lynxxx who's recently undergone a serious weight loss attributed this to his new healthy lifestyle, which he said was triggered after some unflattering pictures of him surfaced online.

In an exclusive chat with Pulse TV Live, Lynxxx revealed that after a trip to the United States during which he went on a binging spree, he returned to the country and performed at a show. However, when pictures from the event were released, he was most unhappy with what he saw of himself.

It was at that point he instantly quit alcohol and began a serious diet regimen.

Lynxxx who says his body and skin are the happier for his decision revealed that he decided to quit alcohol completely at least for a year and 10 months in, he doesn't feel the urge to take any.

"With the kind of industry we are in, we're always surrounded by alcohol. I have people call me saying why don't you come over so we host you in our club and provide you free drinks. I tell them, I don't drink alcohol, give me money instead and they don't call your phone again"

So what do you make of Lynxxx's weight loss, hot or not?
