Washington Post Deputy Digital Editor, Karen Attiah, is scheduled to speak at the Distinguished Journalists’ Lecture Series of the American University of Nigeria (AUN), Yola.
Attiah, a one-time World Bank consultant, will be speaking on the topic “Nigeria after Boko Haram.”
Student Pulse gathered that the former Fulbright scholar will meet with the officials of the AUN/U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
She will also appear as a guest lecturer at some of the university's journalism class as well as participate in the community activities of the AUN, especially food distribution at the internally displaced persons (IDP) camp in Yola.
AUN President Dr. Margie Ensign recently launched a N1bn naira appeal fund in partnership with the Adamawa Peace Initiative for persons displaced by the Boko Haram insurgency.
